About Reset

Troy Taylor is a Certified Advanced Rolfer™ and Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and the principal at Reset Bodywork. He received his certification from The Rolf Institute® of Structural integration in Boulder, Colorado and graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, British Columbia.

Troy was initially drawn to Rolfing® to heal a chronic workplace injury from his background in information technology and working in the public sector. The discomfort in his body impeded him from pursuing his passion for cycling, running, swimming and generally enjoying life to its fullest. He had tried various therapies for 8 years without permanent success before discovering Rolfing® Structural Integration and the 10 Series. After the first session of Rolfing, he felt relief from his pain and knew he had found what his body needed. By the end of the second session, his injury was feeling better and more important, the work was holding. The 10 Series made him feel noticeably younger and the general ‘aches and pains’ that accompanied his injury had also begun to disappear. Receiving the 10 sessions of Rolfing improved his life in such a profound way that he chose to become a Rolfer himself. Troy describes, the impact Rolfing has had on his life, “I feel great gratitude to Dr. Ida Rolf for creating this amazing and meaningful work and to my instructors for sharing their knowledge and passion so that I may help others.”

When not helping others through Rolfing, Troy enjoys cycling, running, swimming and yoga.  He also loves spending time with his golden-doodle, Marley down at the beach.
